Our Ministries

A variety of educational opportunities are available at All Saints:

Adult Bible Study: Small group Bible Study offers a place to connect with other believers in fellowship and to grow in understanding of scripture. Studies are available on different days and times, check the monthly Newsletter for current groups. Bible Study groups at All Saints help equip you on your lifelong journey in becoming the person God created you to be. Opportunities to lead new Bible Study groups are also available.

Sunday School: The All Saints Sunday School program includes Pre-K (3-4 year olds) to 6th Grade. The curriculum is Akaloo, which is a program from Augsburg Fortress, the ELCA publishing company.

Teach Sunday School: You don’t even need to have a child in Sunday School to teach! Here at All Saints we want our Sunday School students to feel loved and cared for by all of our members, and what better way to get to know these “little saints” than by teaching them all about God and His great love.

Confirmation: Our confirmation program is for 6th, 7th & 8th Grade students. Confirmation classes are held on Wednesday evenings, and students also participate in the presentation of Lenten and Advent services.

Vacation Bible School (VBS): For one week each summer, children of All Saints along with other children of other local congregations have a unique experience with fun and friendship that helps them learn more about God in their daily lives.

Youth at All Saints are able to take part in planning Lenten and Advent services, as well as to participate in congregational events and activities that happen throughout the year. Youth are encouraged and welcomed to become worship volunteers. All Saints youth also participate in ELCA Youth Gatherings. Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives. All Saints also seeks chaperones - adults of any age that love kids and can serve as good Christian role models. Opportunities for chaperones include evening, day, weekend, or week-long events.

PROPERTY AND GROUNDS - There is always a project list, and volunteers can help to keep the facilities and grounds of All Saints looking beautiful and welcoming. There are also many different kinds of projects, and each one is an opportunity for volunteers to share their time and talents. Groups or individuals may work on tasks, whether it be routine maintenance or special projects. Contact us if you would like to join the team!

FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY - There are opportunities to help in the kitchen or help decorating the church for different functions.

OFFICE/COMMUNICATIONS - We welcome help with the monthly newsletter layout and design. Use your graphic art skills to assist in this ministry. Assistance is also welcomed for web page maintenance and updating, as well as social media. Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint are useful for help in updating the weekly PowerPoint presentation used in weekly worship.
